Would/could we pull something like this off? Does the jumbotron at Akron have the capability of piping in the game feed?I bet if it were advertised, you could fill the place up for this game. UA could make a ton of money on the concessions and we'd get to enjoy a gamelike atmosphere.Even get that guy out there that acts like he's a member of the scream team! What's everyone think?

OBC is great but I'd prefer the JAR. Greater capacity. Could allow sponsors like Scorchers, OBC and others sell anything they'd like except alcohol. Would like to think interest in something like this would exceed what OBC is able to accommodate down on Main Street, especially given the ideal start time of 7:25PM. Just my two cents ...

I would agree with issues of capacity but the students are gone for spring break so that should even it out, also a mojority of people like to watch mulitple games, can't do that at the JAR. Lastly, a majority of people want to drink when watching sports that is just a gimme.

you just lost like 50% of the fans with that statement. I dont know if the JAR could even do it let alone if they would even do it.

:CK_brew::CK_brew: Yeah, I know ... just acknowledging current campus policy. I'd like to think that something like this brings out thousands, not hundreds.

well something like that (if you mean drinking for a zips game) will bring out thousands in 186 days or so.

Yep, I've come to the conclusion that me having at least a beer during their games is the key to the Zips playing well!! I will be at OBC for the game for sure.
