pdt1420
Would/could we pull something like this off? Does the jumbotron at Akron have the capability of piping in the game feed?I bet if it were advertised, you could fill the place up for this game. UA could make a ton of money on the concessions and we'd get to enjoy a gamelike atmosphere.Even get that guy out there that acts like he's a member of the scream team! What's everyone think? Let's not take any business away from our downtown establishments.
GoZips88
OBC is great but I'd prefer the JAR. Greater capacity. Could allow sponsors like Scorchers, OBC and others sell anything they'd like except alcohol. Would like to think interest in something like this would exceed what OBC is able to accommodate down on Main Street, especially given the ideal start time of 7:25PM. Just my two cents ... Lastly, a majority of people want to drink when watching sports that is just a gimme.
skip-zip
We didn't do a watch party in the JAR last time, but again, that was a daytime game. 99% of the people I know would rather be at a bar.

Yeah, I know ... just acknowledging current campus policy. I'd like to think that something like this brings out thousands, not hundreds. I will be at OBC for the game for sure.
