Any word on a celebration for this team, similar to the 2007 event at the JAR?
There should be one!!! Unless the university thinks that it would be out of control being so close to May Day. Even though it would be cool to see burning couches in front of the JAR like they used to do on Katherine Place :champs:

Could be dangerous. I remember people trying to flip a bus on Exchange street one year. Don't want that to happen to the team bus

I think everyone pretty much regarded the Selection Sunday party as the celebration of the MAC tournament title. I think the only thing you might see now is maybe an appearance of this team at the home opener football game??The 2007 JAR party was different. People felt as if that team deserved some recognition for what they did that year, even though there was no MAC tournament title, or NCAA or NIT appearance.

Over 300 fans are currently registered for the celebration at the JAR. Call before noon on Wednesday to make sure you have reservation. Let's show this team how much we appreciate their efforts this past season and that we are looking forward to an exciting future of Zip's Hoops.
