ZachTheZip Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 The pre-trial for the Morrison house was supposed to be today, but it has been delayed thanks to Morrison Jr.'s lawyer. It probably won't begin again until the end of the year. Quote

It probably won't begin again until the end of the year.I wish they let them tear the house down while they settle the issues in court.Take away Morrison Jr illegal benefit he got thanks too dad and be done with it.But, don't leave the eyesore standing for months and months due to legal wrangling by the Morrison's. ZachTheZip Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 http://www.ohio.com/news/break_news/50178382.htmlThey finally set a date of July 28th. Hopefully there are bulldozers at the house on the 29th. I'm sick of that eyesore being stuck in a legal no-man's land impeding construction while not doing anybody any good. Nobody is benefitting from the house standing, not Morrison Jr., not the university, not the neighborhood, nobody. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted July 26, 2009 Author Report Posted July 26, 2009 http://www.ohio.com/news/51726077.htmlThings are heating up with the trial set for Tuesday.Morrison Jr. is claiming politics here, saying he was singled out because of his party affiliation.I wish Morrison Sr. would step down already and that his son would stop running his mouth. zen Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Morrison Jr. is claiming politics here, saying he was singled out because of his party affiliation.DurI love that line of reasoning.Hello, McFly, if you do something wrong, while there are some people who will go after you for the principle of it, you can be sure people in some other political party will go after you with some extra enthusiasm. I don't think which parties they are even matter. The point is, don't break the law and don't take advantage of people.Or does he believe that if he had no politics at all he would be immune? Quote
Dave in Green Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 In general, insider financial irregularities tend to involve well-connected business investors, who also happen to be more likely to be conservative Republicans than liberal Democrats. That doesn't necessarily mean that Democrats as a group are more honest than Republicans, but just that their irregularities tend to show up in different areas. A good system of checks and balances ensures that each side keeps a close eye on the other in their particular problem areas. Quote
