ZachTheZip
It's too late to have them ready for the first two games at the stadium. They're missing a HUGE amount of single-day business, but I think they are going more after the regular university students who will eat there year round than relying on high traffic for 6 days a year. GP1
Are they building a Skyway near campus?
ZachTheZip
It's going on the corner of Spicer and Exchange, across the street from the stadium.

GP1
Please get Swenson's they are the best burgers...If you add 1/4 cup of sugar per pound of ground beef, you can make a home made Swensons burger.

By the by. Brown sugar works best, but your ratio is perfect. Add a 1/2 teaspoon or so of granulated (not powdered!) garlic. For best results, let it sit in the fridge for an hour or two before making your burgs. And don't overmix the beef or you'll wind up with hockey pucks.Other Swenson's imitation essentials: 1) Buns lightly toasted and slathered generously with real butter. 2) Velveeta cheese, an otherwise disgusting product that is nevertheless essential for that true Swenson's ooeygooeyness. 3) White (not yellow!) onions, thinly sliced and rinsed in ice-water. 4) For Galley Boys: Kraft tartar sauce and Kraft original flavor BBQ sauce.Living on the West Coast for a dozen-plus years, I had to do a lot of trial and error to indulge my Swenson's fix. Apparently they've tried automation in the past but they weren't happy with the results.

scottditzen
Hey pal, things don't get done in the A.K. overnight. The Ohio Brewing Company was ten years getting off the ground. Heck, it took like 90 years to get a new stadium on campus. I am betting the Skyway will be ready when we get set to defend our Big East title in 2017. They had better get their collective butts in gear and get it built! Does anybody know when they are planning to open? It would seem like they would want to be there for the start of the season but that isnt going to happen.
Class of 82
The SkyHi (Db Cheeze and special sauce) is better.Deciding between Sky Way and Swensons' is extremely dangerous. If I recall correctly, that is precisely how they got HAL to self-immolate in 2001: A Space Odyssey.Throw Dilly's, the Corral and Bob's into the mix, and the potential for mass hysteria is incalcuable. Oh, the horror.Fortunately, Garner Brothers and the Hungry "I" are no longer around.
