skip-zip Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Unless they were going to have it at BW3, or downtown somewhere, this is a great choice since it's a genuine sports bar-type atmosphere. Only a couple of miles down the street from campus, and VERY supportive of the Zips. All kinds of jerseys and other Zips stuff are in the place. And that's more than I can say for many of the restaurants and bars in the area. Quote
GP1 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 I have a friend who used to rent an office above this bar and ran a successful small business out of it. He was in his early 30s and divorced. The office had a bed in it so if he got to drunk he could spend the night. He used to pick up strippers at the local establishments and bring them back to the bar then up to the office. I still chuckle when I think of it because this guy has done really well in life now. Quote
