ZachTheZip Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Men's Soccer wraps up their four game road trip on Tuesday in Blacksburg, VA when they take on Virginia Tech. VT plays in the tough ACC, but they are not one of the top teams in that conference and are currently on a three game losing streak. They did manage to beat NC State, however.A win is good for the SOS. VT plays a gauntlet of a schedule that should translate to a good RPI. Quote

ejcool27 Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 We still have to play Penn State and Michigan State too....Yes both at home, but both are top 25 worth. Quote
MDZip Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Man, I really would have liked to have gone to this one. But Blacksburg is almost as far a drive as coming back to Akron is. And with it being a weeknight game, guess it's gamecast for me (sigh). Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 13, 2009 Author Report Posted October 13, 2009 Does anybody have a link to the gametracker? I looked for one but I can't find it.Thanks in advance.Man, I really would have liked to have gone to this one. But Blacksburg is almost as far a drive as coming back to Akron is. And with it being a weeknight game, guess it's gamecast for me (sigh). It is a long drive. Might be worth it to see the Zips beat an ACC team. Can't we get a game on TV one of these days? Quote
MDZip Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Looks like there is a possibility the audio may be broadcast via the VATECH web site at http://www.hokiesports.com/msoccer/schedule/. Click on all-acess (you may have to update Microsoft Silverlight) but it looks like they may be doing a free broadcast. Quote
