MDZip
Got a few props on their board for the folks we brought down. http://www.techsideline.com/message_board/olympic/I think that's great that some Rowdies were able to make the trip. We earned some respect for not only the victory but a little bit for our support of the team. I know this is thinking way ahead and I "shouldn't" do it, but the College Cup is in Cary, NC this year (last year it was in Dallas) so at least it is within driving distance. I know I will be nervous as heck every single NCAA game. You just don't know what could happen and it is a one and done tournament. I know there is still a lot of season left but I can't wait for the NCAA playoffs to start.
ZachTheZip
Frenchy said on WNIR this morning that there were about 50 Rowdies who made the trip to Blackburg last night Frenchy is correct. The Rowdies got a bus together at the last minute and made the trip. The team didn't know we were coming. The weather was very mild there and it was too bad that we had to come back to freezing temps. The game should have been a blowout, but VT got very lucky a couple of times. They're a good attacking team and can score goals; this was only their third time being shutout on the season. Now let's hope they can knock off some top ACC teams and boost our RPI.
