jaycevs Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Mistakes in the red zone were bad, the fumble, int, and not getting it into the end zone with 2nd and 2 down deep, not to mention the kickers. The special teams are still killing us, I still dont know how a D1 team cant punt a ball. However, I think we found a new RB, QB, and the WR's played well without #1. Quote
RACER Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 the refs did not do us any favors.they call us for offensive pas interfearence? two times the buffalo playersshould have been called. on the fumble play with torrence was total B.S..there was no way the ref could have seen when the ball came out.even on the replay you could not see the ball.i usually don't complain,but the refs were terrible yesterday. Zipsrifle Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Well, made the trip to Buffalo yesterday and I can't say I left mad. I didn't leave happy, but I didn't leave mad. The ref's were horrible, the worst officiating I have seen in a long, long time, maybe ever. I am not, however, blaming them for our loss, that is our fault. They were horrible all around. The worst call was the pass interference call late in the game that was against us!?!?! Can't remember who our WR was, but Nicely threw the ball short and he turned around to get it. The Buffalo guy didn't even turn his head, he kept running straight forward, our WR tried to run back to the ball but was basically blocked by the Buffalo WR. How can it be Interference on us if the other guy doesn't even know where the ball is??? Regardless, the officiating was horrible, and it was horrible both ways. I hope for everyone in the MAC, that those guys never officiate again! Quote
