Big Ten Tournament

Recommended Posts

Any chance NW had of getting a top 4 seed is now gone. They might even be out of the running for a top 8 seed. Also, Wisconsin has the #38 RPI, but a losing record. They cannot be invited to the NCAA tournament without earning their conference's automatic bid. If they lose, it opens a spot for a team with a better record to get in.The less the Big Ten gets, the better.

Is that a rule that a sub .500 team can't make the NCAA tourney without winning their conf tourney? I guess it makes sense, but it is written in the NCAA rulebook anywhere?
