the good news is the zips are not the worst team in d-1 with the win over eastern.the bad news shows were are not muchbetter than the worst teams in d-1.i hope the admin makes the right decision.i saw nothing in this game that would want me to keep jd.we barley beat a winless 0-12 eastern michigan.jd has done nothing the last four season to keep his job.i just dont see how you can keep a guy with three losing season in a row then follow that with a 3-9 record.any other coach in d-1 would have been gone last season.if you think attendance is bad now wait till next season.we need people in the stands to pay for the stadium,and this won't happen while jd is here.i think he is s decent guyand runs a clean program,but cannot win games.

i wonder if coach brookhart ever wonders what could have been if he had dumped the DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR a few years ago..obviously he would never admit it publicly...what i thought was interesting was that coach brrokhart made a point of saying in the papers that he had had other offers and turned them down prior to this year...must have been overwhelming offers....

I really don't care if he had offers. I guess he blew it if he had great offers and passed them up, only to fail here. Either way, we're the fans who have had to watch this program descend into such a state that we had to hope for a recovered onside kick to beat EMU to day. Ridiculous. JD is going to be just fine, but it had better not be here. I'm not inside the program so I don't know exactly why he failed, but there can be no dispute that he failed, hard core. Now it's time to move down the road to success without this staff.Right now I hope Tom is sitting in Luis' suite high above the field, the fireplace roaring, as they discuss the plan to find and hire their next head coach.What I want for X-mas is a new coaching staff.
