GoZips88
Wake vs. UVA were 0-0 at the half. Wake was on the attack most of the half. Interesting since UVA beat Wake twice this year (Wake didn't score in either match).Color analyst is definitely a UVA homer (played for them but never made the College Cup).ESPNU in Akron is channel 303 (at least in the Norton area). bUAkronG
Wake is clearly outplaying UVa. This gives me hope if Akron and Virginia both make it through.

Zipsrifle
Zips controlling the ball more, looking for shots whereas UNC seems to be shooting from the hip more.
you am i
These TV announcers are so pro-ACC it is ridiculous.
Zipsrifle
They seem pretty even to me....but I'm watching online which may be better than what is on TV.
ejcool27
First TV timeout this is what I've seen.....The crowd seems pretty pro Akron. So I don't think we have to worry about homefield at all. The Zips looked a little shaky, but seemed to pull it together at the back. Great shot by Ampi, but it was an even better save. Keep it up boys your looking pretty good.

They are definitely considering Akron to be the underdog, although as the game goes on they seem to be giving Akron more respect.
bUAkronG
I am pretty pleased with the announcing actually. As am I pleased with our play. We seem to be doing a pretty good job playing our game. I hope we can get a goal before halftime.

He's still not giving UA enough respect IMO.

I mean, our Football team and Basketball teams aren't powers so of course our Soccer teams can't be that good. I hope this team is playing with a chip on their shoulder. Nobody has given us respect this year outside of the MAC, a the Big 10 at the end of the season.
Zipsrifle
So, what do you think Caleb is telling these guys right now? Is it a normal half conversation or what? I know nothing about Caleb, is he the kind of guy to be chewing these guys out, or is he fine tuning and changing strategy on the sidelines? Zipsrifle
I see the bias now. They get very excited whenever UNC is over midfield and they don't get nearly as excited as when Akron is working near the goal.
ejcool27
UNC down to 10 men......we still need one though
