I know there are alot of "Keith Dambrot worshipers" on here but i dont think we can continue to blame the players for everything that goes wrong. Dambrot shoots us in the foot alot of times with his lineups and schemes.

Again, we have no go to five. Mix and match all you want but when the crap hits the fan you must havefive guys you can rely on.

I love how we have a 7 footer but the small forwards are shooting inside hook shots.

and getting position on him for rebounds. zeke needs to move with authority. He kind of tip toes around down there.

Well you know how much we love making him come out and switch off his man at the 3 point line so he can hurry back to rebound.

The team just isn't able to anticipate each other's moves. Hitchens is a turnover waiting to happen too often.

Why are Akron games like this? And I don't mean just basketball, it seems we almost ALWAYS have weak second halves. I'd love to see the foot on the floor the entire game. Don't play to "not lose," play to win, play the same until there's two minutes left if you've got a big lead. Hopefully this changes in football with Coach Ianello and crew. It's just frustrating to watch.

Did some stat research, I guess it's those Zips colored glasses: We're 4-4-1 in 2nd halves in MAC play, and 14-7-2 overall.

Right now Nick is running this game on both ends for the Zips. He has been solid all season. Conyers looks like a Div 1 (non mac) player. McClanahan is ususllay on the bench in favor of hitchens. Your five are our most reliable players. Everybody else needs to be evaluated on a game-by-game basis.

Yeah, and i know Mcnees is having a rough stretch offensively but you still get good defense and he plays hard. Something you just dont see much on this team. Something that Humpty should take notice of.
