Akron's newest neighborhoodI think this is a good idea. Turning this into a neighborhood is a good step toward creating a "college town" within the city. They can start doing things like holding their own Independence Day parade or whatever other neighborhoods like Firestone Park or Goodyear Heights do, except have it focused mainly toward college students.Creating a sense of community is key to creating a residential atmosphere on and around campus. Same with providing things to do outside the university.

I disagree, I think the first order of business should be holding all of the slum lords accountable for their multiple health and building code violations. THEN deal with the plasma center.
