For those of you who aren't into geology, that's roughly the equivalent of detonating all of the US's nuclear weapons at once in the same spot several times over. The entire Pacific Ocean is under a tsunami watch or warning. Z.I.P. Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 heads up Z.I.PLMAO. Thanks for remembering me! Would you believe, I almost got on the CBS Evening news Saturday? I was five feet away from their West Coast reporter Ross Palumbo as he delivered his standard drivel notes from Diamond Head Lookout. They edited it out by air time, however. There must have been a couple thousand others there partying and waiting for the wave that never arrived. I should have brought my surfboard. Quote

Funny you say that, i was watching a few news channels waiting for the tsunami to hit and i couldn't help but laugh at the difference between the news station's grim forecasts and the party like atmosphere of the Hawaiians sitting in lawn chairs and drinking beers while waiting for it.
