How would you rate the Akron football student sect

I am tallying up information to get a better idea of which MAC football programs have the best student sections. Feel free to post your comments below as any info is greatly appreciated.

I voted "Lots of students, not really into the game". The AK-Rowdies were trying to get people up and cheering last game, but nobody really piped up. One of the Rowdies actually had pop thrown at him because he wouldn't move off the rail and go sit down in the stands. Turns into a social event in the 3rd Q too. But, the number of students appears to be significantly more than in the past 10 years and the AK Rowdies definately make a difference.

funy thing is that this is just "buzzz"... AK-ROWDIES doesn't even start until basketball season! www.AK-ROWDIES.com. I cannot wait... i will be there on October 14th at 8:00 pm for registration... i cannot wait!

Everyone knows if we win games people will show up.....look at the Indians, Cavs, and Browns...when they sucked they were giving away tickets, Lebron shows up win some games now you can't get tickets, When Bernie played same thing, it's only a matter of time before the front runners come.....I bet it is when we have a solid team, win the MAC championship, and have over half the team returning when we play Ohio State.

Yea, I noticed that. Still, they are out there making @$$#$ of themselves trying to get people up and cheering. Sounds like a pretty sweet "Incentive Package" UA has put together to be an AK-ROWDIE. Nice job UA! I've never seen the student section so loud (except late last year). Even though it is Basketball only, I hope they keep coming to the football games. Need this to keep up for a few years until the legacy of students sitting on your @$$ is history.
