What are you talking about? Probably referencing his stint as a recruiter during the Desert Swarm days in Arizona. Quote

ksu sucks Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 He's from Ohio. What are you talking about? Ianello served as recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Arizona. Yup. Ianello served as recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Arizona and helped develop Bobby Wade and Dennis Northcutt. Wade led the Pacific-10 Conference with 93 receptions for 1,389 yards and eight TDs in 2002, while Northcutt caught 88 passes in 1999. Also in 1999, he was named one of the top 10 recruiters in the nation by ESPN.com and one of the top six recruiters nationally by Sporting News. The previous year with the Wildcats, he helped Arizona's 1998 squad to a 12-1 record and number four national ranking. http://www.gozips.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_...TCLID=204846946 Quote

Ianello recruited for Arizona and Notre Dame, now he's at Akron. It's a lot easier to get big time players when you have big schools like that behind you. Now he's got to recruit kids to a school that has 1 MAC championship, 1 bowl appearance, and coming of a 3 win season? It's going to be tough for him out there, but I wish him luck that we get some more to sign... Quote
