johnnyzip84 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 As I read more about Orange HC Doug Marrone's approach to offense, it sure sounds like he and Ianello share similar philosophies. Both appear to desire a power running game and the use of the tight end in the passing game. This lead me to the following discovery. Remember when TE Jose Cruz transferred to FCS Hofstra after the 2008 season (and after a few noted drops, at least one a sure TD). Well with Hofstra dismantling football after last season, Jose became free to transfer anywhere. So now he resurfaces at SU for his senior year, ready to make a Carlton Jackson-like reappearance in Akron. Let's hope he endures a similar result! Link Quote

I wonder if he'll show? Quote
