RootforRoo44
Whoever we draw would be the winner of a first-round game. Yeah and i'm hoping it's Virginia or OSU....both probably shouldn't be seeded and both would be NUTS to play at home. They each have one of the most hated players to Zips soccer fans. ZachTheZip
We dropped to #4 in the final RPI thanks to having to play two crappy teams in our tournament while the other top teams got games against decent competition. Thanks, MAC.
meatwad
I find it very interesting that Maryland and UNC moved up to #1 and #2 respectively in the RPI after playing each other in the ACC finals. I'm slightly surprised that we dropped to #4, but still glad the NCAA didn't completely hose us and give us the 5 seed like they did a few years ago when we were on the cusp of a top 4 seed. Overall I'm pretty happy with where we ended up (except for the fact we would have to play Maryland in the Final 4 assuming they make it). Thanks, MAC. As I figured would happen when I posted "no help" from our MAC Tourney opponents. EDIT: Once again, tOSWho gets a seeding when they weren't even in the top 16 in RPI or in the top 25 in the Coaches' Poll. I wonder who controls the NCAA MONOPOLY?! The ACC teams got to play each other, which boosted their RPI, while Akron was stuck playing teams that dropped ours.
