Texas beat Colorado 42-17 on October 15th. Akron beat Northern Illinois 48-42 in overtime on September 24th. Done. Over. Texas should be the Big 12 champions, and Akron should be the MAC champions. Fine, so NIU has a better MAC record than Akron, but my point is that teams shouldn't get a second chance. Otherwise, the first showdown is meaningless and the regular season is devalued. Which brings me to how this should change ..."

Great statement. Not to downplay what the Western Michigan Coach did, but as stated in a previous post. If JD could get MAC coach of the year last year, what about this year?

Also, a total lack of disrespect by the league coaches for our players. NO ONE on first team??? A team that is playing in the MAC Championship should get some.
