Golden came in to a situation with to a significantly less talented team than Ianello was left with at a basketball-crazed school. In just his second year people could see that he was going to be good and that he was turning things around after going 1-11 in his first season. Will Ianello show the same turnaround? I doubt it. not without removing about 20 rebellious players from the team (players he should have kicked out before the season began).

I hear that. Even in the darkest days of a program that has a coaching change, you often see that the new coach has something special, and that there are a number of things to feel good about for the future. I see none of that at Akron right now. Like I've said before, I feel the same way I felt during LOs first season. I just don't see anything to hang our hat on right now.
