UA Fan Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Played great and Herbstreit loved him. Great job Kris ! Quote
InTheZone Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Future NFL TE. Probably not. Doesn't have the speed and is an average to poor blocker. Maybe if he improves, but he's great for the Zips, and that's all I care about! Great game last night kid. Quote
Buckzip Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 He is a true Soph. He will get better at blocking. As for speed, he is fast enough. Quote

I mean for gripes sake, Hixon might not even get drafted. Kasparek had a great game recieving last night but for the majority of the games this year he didn't even catch a pass or maybe caught one for five yards. And he's not a true soph, he's a redshirt soph in his 3rd year. He'll be a good tight end who can come through for the Zips in the next few years but he's no NFL tight end. Mike Brake could block AND catch and he was in the league for what, 1 year? Quote
Buckzip Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 He has good size, and decent speed for that size. We will just have to agree to disagree on this one. I guess we can talk about it again in 2 years. Quote

ZipDude Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 On a few of his receptions he looked like Mike Brake rumbling down the field . I thought for sure he was goning top fumble on one of his breakaways. Glad he didn't Quote
Zipsrifle Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 I think Luke really spread the ball around well last night. Kasparek is just one of those guys who will carry 3 or 4 typical MAC defenders about 5 yards till the 5th guy shows up. I was very glad to see him get the ball more, I think he'll add that extra dimension to the passing game the next two years. Quote
