If I read THIS right, if the Zips run the table and both K-ent and Miami lose one additional game, Akron would win the MAC Championship by virtue of a 2-0 record vs K-ent.

Head to head (if somehow we run the table): vs K-ent 2-0, vs. Miami 1-1

Record vs ranked teams: If BSU wins west, Akron is 1-0 vs #2, Miami is 1-0 vs #2

If WMU wins west, Akron is 1-0 vs #2, Miami is 0-1 vs #2

In a different scenario, if K-ent loses two more games, and Miami loses 1 in addition to us, we could still win the Championship via tiebreakers if WMU pulls out the West by virtue of their victory over Miami. So...root for WMU to win the west, and Miami and Can't to each lose at least one more game in addition to our matchups with them.

Wow, gotta love how convoluted it is with just 4 conference games remaining.

I'll just be happy with a first round bye, after where we were two weeks ago. And Miami just made that a lot more challenging with a win tonight. But, it never disappoints me to see Ken+ lose

I'm sure winning the rest of our games is a MUST to have a chance at the #1 seed. We still trail Ken+ by 2 in the loss column.

Whoever wished for these two teams to get pushed to overtime tonight got their wish. I hope that stretches both of them thin in the coming days.

I don't care about seeding for the MAC tourney as they've proven seeding doesn't matter to actually winning it. I'd rather they be more concerned with at least playing their way into the NIT. It would be great to actually have something guaranteed going into the MAC tourney for once. I might die if they won the season -and- tournament championships in the same year.

Lets not get carried away just because they played a really really really really really great game.
