jem101
According to the MAC site, the tie breaker after head to head is winning percentage against ranked conference teams. What's a ranked team? Are they talking about the top four in the conference or what? Given Miami's loss to Buffalo tonight, if they lose to OU on Friday and the Zips beat the Flushes, who will get that 4 seed and a bye? Should have looked at that a little closer, missed the division record tie breaker which comes first. If the Zips win and Miami loses on Friday, Akron will be 6-4 against the East and Miami 5-5. This would give the Zips the four seed and first round bye.
bigzipguy
How about if the Zips win and Miami beats OU, then Akron will wind up 1 game ahead of OU and still get the bye. Remember they beat both Ball St and W. Mich.

Remember they beat both Ball St and W. Mich. Fact is, 1st round bye is completely in the Zips hands right now. With a win over the Flushes, and either Miami or OU losing to the other, the Zips will get a first round bye. Personally, I'll be rooting for OU on Friday night. Much rather have them as a three seed where we wouldn't have to play them till the final.

So, if Miami beats OU, and we beat Ken+ and get the #4, we'll have to play #5 OU in the Quarterfinals? Not good. Lets hope OU wins and gets into that #3 spot. If/When we beat Can't, and if OU beats Miami, then all 3 of us will be tied at 10-6. The MAC website says that the multiple team tiebreaker is the head to head records of the three tied teams. We would be 1-3, OU would be 3-1 and Miami would be 2-2. I think we need help from Miami to knock off OU to get the 4 seed. Regardless....Beat Can't!
