yazan07 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 I was wondering if anyone made the trip to Xenia today. I didn't go because of homework that I didn't even do. The team tied their first two games against Wright State and Notre Dame 0-0 and won their third game against Cincinnati off PK (Caldwell). Could anyone who was there report on how the team looked, who played, and who stood out? It's nice to hear that we apparently defended well by not conceding any goals, but it's too bad that our only goal in three games came off a PK. Quote

I was in Xenia on Sunday. I thought the team defense and passing looked better, but still sloppy compared to the play to which we're accustomed. There were numerous scoring opportunities in the Wright State game of which the Zips were unable to take advantage. Scottie's PK in the Cincinnati game was sweet, and he looked comfortable taking it. As far as who played: Meves Balogun Barson Dagilis Stevenson Brenes Ontiveros Caldwell Speas Mattocks Holmes Schmitt Afsarifard Culbertson Navarrete Murrow Sorry, but I don't remember who played in each game. If I remember correctly though, the first 11 I listed got the most minutes. Meves was in goal for all 135 minutes. Quote
