Z-Pouch
What will it take to get people out to the JAR Saturday night versus Northern Illinois ? Northern is a good team and the Zips are on a littel roll and play an exciting in your face brand of basketball. As KD said in the postgame, it will be a little dissappointing if people dont start showing up for this team. Adding a 6th man to the home court advantage would be huge. No excuses, get out to the games !!!!!!
zipsbandman
Wow what a game. What poise this team showed when the odds seemed stacked againt them. Western got it within 3 in the second half. Travis, Linhart, Preston, and Futch all got in foul trouble. Guys were limping around in a very physical game. The crowd was going nuts, and Western was on a run that seemed would almost surely get them the lead. What do our guys do? They start a run of their own spearheaded by a pair of 3's by Joyce. That's nerves of steel folks. This year is going to be one wild ride if we can stay healthy.
zipfan 81
"Travis, Linhart, Preston, and Futch all got in foul trouble. Guys were limping around in a very physical game. "What happened to Peterson?I still find it amazing that Dambrot doesnt have the "confidence" maybe to put in either Zach, Nick G., or Chad to help these guys out for a few minutes. What I have seen of these players they certainly won't hurt the team, and could help to rest some of the players.
RobC2
Huge win!!! For whatever reason, everyone knows it's exceedingly difficult to win on the road in the MAC. There is truly a homecourt advantage in this conference. We've got to get out to the JAR Saturday!!!Q: Did Joyce spearhead that run in the second half? Rasor's blog on Ohio.com mentioned that it was Futch & Dials who hit 3's to stop Western's run. (I couldn't listen to the game.)Also, good Q - "What about Peterson?" He's a good player who hasn't stepped up as of yet. Is his confidence down?
Z-Pouch
Peterson was limited to 5 minutes due to back problems. It has been mentioned briefly several times throughout the season that his knees and back are giving him trouble.

How can you jump on KD for not playing these stiffs when his team is 9-3 and 3-0 in the MAC with two road wins. Are you Nick's mom?Goddard plays no defense, Zach is a transfer from a Division II school and I am not even sure who this Zach is.You need a beer. bigzipguy
KD is going to start having to use EVERYBODY, or else these guys are going to weardown no matter how tough they are, especially Dials.
zipsbandman
I thought we have been using a lot of players. Every team has about two to three guys that never see the court. Look at Can't State last year. Christian played his starters the entire game and by the stretch run the top five are worn down. I think our player rotation has been a strength of our team. Keep in mind that one of our guards transfered. One of our forwards is too lazy to rehab. We need our marquee players, aka Romeo Travis, to stop getting in foul trouble. That puts a lot less pressure on the guards.
