johnnyzip84 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 Great news Well, maybe. Thirsty Dog co-owner John Najeway said the restaurant won't be connected to his brewery. ''That's not us,'' he said Wednesday. A former business partner filed paperwork to incorporate the restaurant name Thirsty Dog Grill in April ''without our permission and they've been asked to cease and desist,'' Najeway said Quote

MaxZIP Posted June 9, 2011 Author Report Posted June 9, 2011 I call "confusion in the marketplace" on this canine imposter. With all the available names try and be original you dummies. The article says a former business partner is lookin to open the restaurant. They very well may have the right to open a restaurant bearing the name. I wonder if it the partner who ran the restaurant in fairlawn. Quote
Big Zip Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 What about Huckleberry's -- wasn't that the name of the bar/restaurant in Fairlawn by Rockne's year's ago. Bring back that name and the beer specials they had! The food was great at Thirsty Dog -- I have no idea why the restaurant failed -- my wife and I ate there a lot when we were dating and they had the best pretzels and mashed potato pizza in the business.
