K92
I am in St. Louis attending a seminar. Since I know some of you enjoy craft beer, I would suggest trying Schlafy Pale Ale, brewed here in STL. Not sure how large the distribution is but if you're out this way... Very tasty after a long day in the classroom. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/583/1629 Anybody tried this or any of their other beers? Dave in Green
Pale ales and IPA are about all I drink, but I've never tried that one. We're fortunate to have one of the world's great pale ales brewed close to home. Where Beer Advocate gives Schlafly Pale Ale a B, Burning River from Great Lakes gets an A. Burning River is a regular in my fridge.Beer Advocate
K92
I really enjoy Burning River as well, probably my favorite Great Lakes. This Schlafly is an English Pale Ale, a little less hoppy more balanced. If you also like ESB's, you would probably like this one, Dave. Dave in Green
I do like ESBs. I'll give the Schafly a try if I ever run across it. Thanks for the tip.

Although that DOES explain a thing or two.

Dave in Green
Phyllis Schlafly + beer = abstinence.
Schlafly Beer
Easy now, folks. Phyllis Schlafly has absolutely nothing to do with our brewery. The brewery is named for one of our our two co-founders, Tom Schlafly, who has dedicated much of his life to making St. Louis a better city and who's personal politics couldn't be more different from those of Phyllis. Feel free to bag on us if you don't like our beer, but bagging on us because you think we're in some way affiliated with Phyllis Schlafly is unfair and uninformed. Keener '92, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.Regards,Troika BrodskySchlafly Beer Communications DirectorTroika@Schlafly.Com
