Dave in Green Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 I was watching the WKYC-TV (Channel 3) news at 11 last night when a commercial came on. I started to mentally tune it out, as I do most TV commercials. Then I suddenly realized it was KD talking about his Dad's health problem, and how Summa saved his life. It was a GREAT ad! KD comes across so naturally that it almost doesn't seem like an ad, but more of a news feature. He speaks from the heart about how much each comversation with his dad means to him after he was so close to death. The ad ends with KD's dad nailing a free throw and KD snagging the ball. Summa is making excellent use of their connection with UA. Quote

Dave in Green Posted August 25, 2011 Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thanks for that YouTube connection. It was nice to be able to rerun the video a few times to take in all the details. Obviously I slightly misremembered the details, as I thought the free throw shot in the JAR was right at the end. Quote
Dr Z Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Great ad. Love the low aperture lens effect on KD. I think Channel 5 did a nice piece on KD and his Dad before the ND tourney game last year. Reminder on how to properly link a YouTube Video I fixed the above one. Quote
