The counter-argument to that would be why keep running, especially in that heat, and risk anyone getting injured. THAT is a fair argument, for sure. As for "starter"..Hyde is officially #3/#4 of 5 RBs. OSU had 2 viable RBs in that game. I couldn't care less where he is listed on their pre-season depth chart. He is a big-time, prized recruit, and was their #1 running back on Saturday, and had 19 carries. And was reinserted into the game on the final series to carry the football, when Akron was in bench-clearing mode. You won't find me saying that they needed to "take a knee".
