GoZips
What are the plans for the C position after Zeke runs out of eligibility? I'd rather not talk about the post Zeke era Fear not. The coaching staff is diligently recruiting a pair of big men.

Recruiting "a pair" of bigs with the hope of signing one, or both?

The rapid increase in Demetrius Treadwell's skills is altering the thinking of the coaches. TREE has moved from the tenth man in the rotation to the seventh man. This was not expected. But, a wonderful help to the program. It only he was six-ten; he is six-eight.
Dave in Green
Good news on the recruitment of two big men. With the latest signings, the Zips now have two quality PGs and a whole bunch of other players in the 6-3/6-8 range. They need at least one quality big man in the 6-9/7-0 range to step in for Zeke after he graduates at the end of next season. The quality of the players the Zips are now getting should keep the program on the upswing as long as they can always have at least one quality big who can play center, even if the guy is a PF and not a true center. I've already said that Tree has looked better in games than I had hoped. Having a replacement in line for the Serb next season is important. I haven't seen anything on the recruiting services. Also great news about Tree. I know a lot of us (myself being a big culprit) worry about what we will do when Zeke graduates, but probably an even more immediate concern is what happens when Nik graduates. If Tree is already starting to develop as the heir apparent that is a good thing. The idea of him and Harney manning the forwards spots for the next 3-4 years is awful enticing.
