Dave in Green Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Elton thinks the Zips have too much firepower for Can't this season, and thinks that Harney could be "the most prolific offensive weapon to wear a Zips uniform since Marcel Boyce." As long as Harney and/or Treadwell do well, Zips should get great coverage in the PD over the next four years. EA's MAC Basketball Season Predictions Quote
MDZip Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Most shocking statement in the writeup, under Western Michigan: Broncos still have enough balance with Ward on the perimeter, Whitfield and Stainbrook inside, to be best in the West and challenge Akron in the East. The 6-10 Stainbrook is key after off-season back surgery. He is one of just two (Justin Greene, Can't State) complete centers in the league. What, what the hell was Elton thinking there? Quote
Dave in Green Posted November 12, 2011 Author Report Posted November 12, 2011 I took the comment about Stainbrook being one of two complete centers in the league to mean that he also plays like a football center in knocking players off their feet. Quote
akronzips71 Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I agree about Harney. He only played 2 years in HS and the other day was his first Div 1 game. He has unreal raw talent. He will make mistakes. But he has the potential to be all world. I have not seen anyone who could jump so gracefully since Len Paul. He has tremendous upside. Quote
