Things To Do In Charlotte Tonight

Here are some places away from campus for those people who might drive or those willing to take a cab on Saturday. Most are uptown. There aren’t too many good places to eat around campus. They are in no particular order. They used to have hyperlinks, but I don't have time to reconnect them. Google any of the places and you can get a better idea of what they offer.

Big Daddy's: Burger place. The one in Dilworth will be closer to UNCC.

Cantina 1511: Mexican. The one on East Blvd will be closer to UNCC.

Paco's: Southwest. Close to a mall if there are guys who have to take their wives shopping. High end part of town. The mall is great.

Stike City: Uptown at the Epicenter, which is an entertainment center. Pizza place next door delivers there. Best pizza in town. Bowling. Best televisions for watching sports in the city.

There is a gourmet Mexican place at the Epicenter, but I can’t think of the name of it.

Cajun Queen: Very close to downtown. New Orleans without the smell of sewage. Great place.

Vivace: Very close to downtown. Best Italian in the city.

Mimosa Grill: Low country cooking. Some say the best place to eat in Charlotte. I would agree.

If it was my decision, I would go to any of these places and then go the Epicenter and go to Wild Wing Café after dinner. They have live music every night and it is usually pretty good.
