Big Zip
I can't imagine Schiano going to the Bucs a week away from National Signing Day is going to be good for Rutgers. Will the vultures be flying around Rutgers today?

Will the vultures be flying around Rutgers today? I still can't believe he turned down the University of Miami job several years ago -- guess he was holding out for the NFL. I have a friend who plays for the Bucs, I'm interested to hear what he has to say.

I actually think it is an awful hire by Tampa Bay, aside from a few good years at Rutgers he has about a .500 overall record. Even Terry has been more successful at the D1 level... I'd say that's a LOT more successful, not only than Schiano, but of probably 80-90% of all college head coaches.

BTW, the trickle down effects of this move could influence the 2012 Zip season. But would a coach allegedly turn down Pitt and say yes to Rutgers? Edit: The link seems to be a little flaky. If it's not working for you, the gist of the article is that FIU’s Mario Cristobal, who is under the Schiano coaching tree, is speculated to be a candidate for the Rutgers job. If you do get the link to work for you, there is a most egregious error toward the bottom of the page!
