Good for him and far more importantly good for us!

Must be pretty nice to be Ron Powlus and get a substantial pay INCREASE following the last 2 years of QB performance at UA

Thanks for the update. I don't think it really matters to UA how much Ianello is making now, as I believe UA negotiated a lump sum settlement.

But it reminds me that I had said here that Ianello was likely to land a high-paying assistant coaching position back when others were saying he'd be lucky to get a $100-150k per season gig. Regardless of how he may stumbled in his rookie head coaching attempt at UA, the man has more than 20 years of good credentials as an assistant.

Just consider ourselves the recipients of incredibly fortunate timing, and leave it at that.

I am a BIG Turner Gill fan. If he couldn't turn the Kansas program around, I will be utterly amazed if Charlie and Company do.

Weis, IMO, has no clue about college football. What he did (didn't do) with the Florida offense this past season bordered on e criminal. And at ND... He did know that Brady Quinn would eventually run out of eligibility, right??? Didn't he pull his new starting QB in the middle of the first game that season? How do you not have a plan for QB?? I have no clue what Kansas was thinking.

Yes, who can forget Weis's ringing endorsement of Brady Quinn as "the most NFL-prepared QB" he'd ever seen? Guy has zero credibility, and UA is certainly the beneficiary of Kansas's stupidity.
