fknbuflobo
BOOO Spain and Germany. Well, those are the two best sides, really. Justice is served.

johnnyzip84
Steve Rushin article on Euro 2012 This is a pretty good summary of what has been a pretty good tournament thus far, but the real reason I posted this link is it has one of my all-time favorite lines in sportswriting history (below): When Germany took a 1-0 lead on Greece on Saturday on a strike by Philipp Lahm, and Greece abruptly and surprisingly equalized, Euro 2012 briefly threatened to become Gyro 2012 -- Greeks taking leg of Lahm and turning it into something wonderful. I thought that was about as funny and clever a quip as I've ever encountered
Spin
Buffon and Balotelli are sick. Just one game left, bring on Spain!!!
fknbuflobo
I am still stunned!
Crew8
I am still stunned! Very entertaining game today, no sitting back from Italy. I think you'd see most teams sit back on Germany. I'm still shocked as well. I didn't think Italy had it in them to take down Germany. Just like in the 2010 WC, Germany looked like the strongest team up until the semifinals. Italy vs Spain this Sunday. I hope Spain opens up a little more and brings some attack instead of playing box to box. We'll be grilling up some free burgers, hot dogs, and sausages this Sunday at Ray's Pub for the game if anyone is interested.

fknbuflobo
This Spanish team is arguably the best international side ever.
Crew8
This Spanish team is arguably the best international side ever. I'd like to disagree, but they are very organized in the back and in the midfield. I wish I could've watched more of the match today, but I was sweating over a hot grill most of the first half for 50 plus soccer fans at Ray's Pub in Akron. That was the finest moment in Akron despite the result. If you were there, congrats to you for showing up! If you were not, where were you? Great crowd! Great times! It only helps Akron soccer grow! yazan07
Ugh, if anyone didn't hear about the power outages all over Ohio, I didn't have any way to watch the game while I was at my parents' house this weekend. I guess it wouldn't have mattered because during the game, I was at my friend's wedding. There was no way for me to even record it though. At one point during the wedding I went up to my friend and asked if she had heard about the game, she said she had the score and that I'd be disappointed. She thought I was rooting for Italy though! haha sad I had to miss the game though.
