bobbyake
in the tables, you can see that the later games in the season start to experience a drop in attendance, regardless of how the program's doing. They don't report weather in the box score sheets, but it's obviously a strong factor.

Zipmeister
Wondering if there were any bad weather/post season games played on nights other than Friday that should have also been eliminated when the two Friday games were eliminated. Want to keep the comparison fair.

Want to keep the comparison fair. All postseason games were removed in the 3rd table, so that includes every day of the week. I did not remove any bad weather dates, nor do I have weather data included in any of the tables. If the box score sheets had weather data, I could include it. If you feel inclined to find the weather data for each of those games, I'd be happy to add it in. I'm going to start working on a football attendance report soon, but because of the NCAA's 15k average requirement every other year, the football attendance numbers UA reports are dubious. More people would rather go to the non-confernece games played against powerhouses in other sports like all of the Big Ten schools we play. That's definitely true, but soccer isn't like football, we play OOC games throughout the season too.

I don't think Penn State or Michigan is going to draw a crowd based on their name. Ranked teams are probably more significant.
