GP1
If we were playing only MAC East teams this year (or even if we got the MAC West cupcake schedule that OU got), Ah, you're right. I just assumed we would, you know, play everyone in our division like normal conferences do. Next time, I'll use MAC logic.
GP1
That was last year, and fortunately, just like an a-hole, last year is behind us. Good post g-17. Some need to do a better job of not reliving the past. No need to pick scabs at this point. Things are moving in our direction.
K92
Too bad the Zips don't play Buffalo this year. I could see the Zips repaying those 86 points on them and Can't. Anyone but me think Can't's kicker was going a little overboard with the pre-kickoff routine? It was how I would imagine Gaylord Perry would do the sign of the cross. Also tired quickly of hearing the whole "Thunder & Lightning" thing. After the Zips humble them this year, they will have to change that duo's name to "Fart in a Windstorm". I can't think of anything else negative to say about Can't right now, but the season is still young.
Z.I.P.
Have to say, from the little I was able to watch without puking (and fortunately there was an MLS game on another channel!), I was very surprised by this outcome. I watched Buffalo's opener vs Georgia, and the Bulls looked like they would be a threat for at least second in the East. They play a top-10 team almost even for a half, and their possession passing game looked hard to stop. I wonder where that team was hiding last night. Could it possibly be that Can't's defense is actually capable? BTW -- who was that Samoan DLman? Not from 'round here I hope.
Spin
Buffalo's hail mary at the half is getting a lot of play on ESPN and local sports reports.
GP1
Have to say, from the little I was able to watch without puking (and fortunately there was an MLS game on another channel!), It's funny...I have the exact opposite reaction while watching grown men bounce a ball off of their heads in soccer.
