ZachTheZip Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 I wonder if Maryland tying at home will break their monopoly on first-place votes in the poll. Quote
TennZip Posted October 28, 2012 Author Report Posted October 28, 2012 excellent win for Michigan State 3-1 over the hoosiers Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 Northwestern and Wisconsin wind up in scoreless tie. Quote
UAZipster0305 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 I wonder if Maryland tying at home will break their monopoly on first-place votes in the poll. Have you seen Maryland's schedule? It's a gauntlet, and they remain undefeated. As much as I love the Zips and think we have an incredible team, unless Maryland lose, they deserve to be #1. Eventually this will be settled on the field anyhow. One of us loses in the Tournament or we play each other head-to-head. Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 OSU and Penn State wind up in a 4-4 tie. Bad result for Lions at home. Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 UC Davis scores with 3 seconds to go in the first half to tie UCSB at the halftime break, a must win for the gauchos if they want to make the tournament Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 ucsb goes down to uc davis 2-1 in overtime, after the game ucsb player Peter McGlynn punched the head official Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 According to radio broadcast, UCSB senior Peter McGlynn was arrested on field following the loss. Quote
Z.I.P. Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 WOW! I can't find anything on the net about the punch. Anyone see anything? Vom Steeg has a bad enough reputation already without his guys beating up the officials. Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 no video of it yet but heres a news story from UCSB area http://www.keyt.com/news/local/Gauchos-Fal...-176198601.html Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 That is the third straight OT loss at home for the Gauchos!!!!!! Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 from @timbudda "Just looked at my video from the game today. Peter McGlynn DID NOT punch the ref at the game today. He DID push him down from behind." Quote
bigzipguy Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 I am not so sure about a push instead of a punch. I have just been on the Gauchos message board, and a witness at the game stated it was a punch. Whether he was close enough to see it or just assumed that since the Ref went down that it must have been a punch , who knows. Quote
plowerman78 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 yeah the guy who broadcasted the game said punch. Unfortunately the video feed cut out before it happen so all i could get was the audio of it. Either way its bad Quote
bobbyake Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 here's video of the incident, it appears to be a push. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=274785502642283 Quote
