ZachTheZip Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 Ball State beat Army on the road 30-22, and gave the MAC the most non-conference FBS wins its ever had in a single season (15). NIU beat WMU 48-34 to move to 8-1 on the season. All the following scores are in the 1st quarter: Miami up 10-0 over Ohio. Can't up 7-3 over Rutgers. BGSU up 7-3 over EMU. Buffalo up 7-0 over Toledo. ZachTheZip Posted October 27, 2012 Author Report Posted October 27, 2012 Bowling Green up 14-3 over EMU at half time. Can't State is proving just how overrated the Big East has been this year. They should be rated lower than the MAC, somewhere with the WAC and C-USA. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 27, 2012 Author Report Posted October 27, 2012 Toledo escapes Buffalo 25-20. Rockets should be ranked next week. Quote
K92 Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 Unbelievable finish in Oxford. What was Tettleton thinking? Hell, what was Solich thinking? Incredible stupidity. Quote
ZippyRulz Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 I don't know what happened in Oxford except that OU got a reality check. And Rutgers got a little MACtion today...that's all I'll say about that.. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 27, 2012 Author Report Posted October 27, 2012 What happened in Oxford is that Ohio played their first non-horrible opponent since Penn State, and couldn't handle it. Quote
zestycoyote Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 Toledo escapes Buffalo 25-20. Rockets should be ranked next week. Proof of what's wrong with the top 25 system. Toledo has a bad week against one of the worst teams in the MAC, so of course, they're now ready to be called a top 25 team in the nation. Sounds familiar ... Ohio U anyone? Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 That was a no excuses situation for OU on the Miami 7-yard line with 9 seconds left, no timeouts and trailing by 3. There's no problem trying a pass to win and throwing it away if no one's open. Worst case scenario is you intentionally ground it, take the 10-yard penalty and go for the 34-yard field goal attempt instead of the 24-yard attempt to tie it. Hanging on to the ball way too long, getting sacked and having the clock run out is inexcusable, especially so for an unbeaten and ranked team. Quote
akzipper Posted October 27, 2012 Report Posted October 27, 2012 Unbelievable finish in Oxford. What was Tettleton thinking? Hell, what was Solich thinking? Incredible stupidity. HAHAHAH Love it! Maybe now OhioU "fans" can disappear again. Good luck making it to a BCS game now, like you had any chance anyway. Guess they can't play Norfolk state and Akron all year... Quote
