GP1 Posted March 18, 2006 Report Share Posted March 18, 2006 If you have played football at Akron and have NOT received a letter from Coach Brookhart outlining three alumni events, you are not on the mailing list and need to get on the mailing list. It's really easy, just send a note to Gary Bogue, Assistant Development Director - Athletics, at gbogue@uakron.edu and he will be happy to add you to his mailing list. Gary is new with the University and is really putting a whole ass effort into developing alumni lists for all sports and coordinating events for those sports. Please help him by contacting him with your information. The upcoming event during spring practice looks real fun and you should participate. You might be shocked at who shows up.Anyone reading this who may have played another sport, please contact Gary as well so you can have your name added to that sports mailing list.Akron is really starting to do things the right way with alumni relations, but they need your help also. It's during a weekday and many former players, those of us who continued on as a professional in something other than sports, will have to work. Am i correct to say that it is on a Monday?
