New Traffic Restrictions Near the "Q"

Beware of the new road and exit closures put into place today by ODOT. They change the flow of traffic to and from the Q. They are especially acute for travelers coming north on I-77 from Akron.

The biggest impact inbound will be the closure of access to Ontario St. from the E 9th St. exit of I-77 north bound. All traffic from that exit must turn right and go south on E. 9th St.

Outbound after the game, traffic southbound on Ontario must detour to the E. 9th St entrance to I-77 South. That puts almost all of the outbound traffic after the game onto an already busy entrance from E. 9th St.

Not a problem for me. Since I live in Parma, I'm taking the Rapid Transit from Brookpark Station to Tower City. It beats having to pay for parking and gas up to Downtown Cleveland. Thanks for the info, though.
