Londoner14
Hey all, Posting from London, England. Does anybody know if it's someway possible to buy/order the same sort of Zips training wear that the players wear during practice? Have looked at the online bookstore, they don't ship abroad however they don't have any training gear anyway. I've seen a few of the game jersey's online, but I am really looking for the training wear? Thanks

If you learn differently, post here, because those are pretty cool. The game jersey is likely the best you can do. If you are truly posting from London, then that is indeed heart-warming. Do you already know of Ismail Seremba? Which EPL club do you follow?
ZachTheZip
The warm-ups look better than the actual uniforms. Not sure how one would go about purchasing them, however.

Londoner14
I actually visited a few years ago....was hoping to play/study at Akron but there wasn't enough scholarship $$$ and that was sadly the case at all of my other top choices. I was heavily recruited by all of the top programs after coming out of a pro teams youth academy however it seemed as an international player the costs were much higher and in that case many coaches probably didn't think I was worth double or in some cases three/four times the amount of $$$ to make in viable for me financially. I ended up staying the UK because I didn't want to make the move over purely for the "scholarship" at colleges that weren't the right fit due to either level of play or location. At the time, 2010/2011, I believe the team was absolutely stacked with talent probably even more so than now. I wish we could have made it happen though because not being able to come over to any of my top choices is something that weighs deeply on me, especially when I realise that I would be in my junior/senior year right now. I've heard about the British lads and I'm sure that all still have pro ambitions so that always bodes well when you get players who want to move onto the next level rather than just have a good time at college. I got the opportunity to replicate the experience somewhat by coming over to play in the PDL the last few years and I was also invited to the combine which was a good experience and confirmed to me that having played with the top D1 players I could have played at that level. I may just look to get the jersey however it's something that I will treat more as memorabilia rather than something that I can wear when playing or in the gym etc like the training kit.
