Basketball Parking Options

I am debating buying/donating my way to a parking pass for the upcoming season. It seems like the lots close to the arena are a mess after the game due to pedestrian traffic crossing the egress. Are the passes worth it?

IMO you can't beat the parking garage. It's covered, it's close and it's free! Travel to other venues and you'll pay $10 - $25 for such an option.

The small parking lot by Olin right off of buchtel seems like a good option. Probably free and quick to get on route 8.

The small parking lot by Olin off of Buchtel is Lot 15. Looks like it's free parking for basketball games:

Basketball Games On University of Akron basketball game nights ALL lots SOUTH of Buchtel Avenue and EAST of Union Street are NOT monitored for permits by Parking Services and the University Police. These include lots 1,7,10,13,14, and 15. For Men's weeknight games Lots 2 and 8 will be controlled by Parking Services after 3:00 PM. We ask that all vehicles be removed from these lots by 5:00 PM. Any vehicles left in Lot 2 after 5:00 PM are subject to towing at the owner's expense. For weekend Men's games these lots will be similarly controlled, with the exception that Lot 2 will be closed the previous evening.

It's free, but you have to get there really early to get a space. On weekdays when class is in session, don't expect any open parking spaces.
