from what i hear, this is out of mack's hands. the contract is sitting in the legal department. just try and get more money out of this university for anyone and this is what happens. they are eager to jack up tuition and take more money in, but stingy on paying it out.

This still confuses me. It is not like Proenza has no idea what is going on. What does legal actually do? Contract should be standard, it should not be up to them to approve budgets. How long was Tressel's doubling of salary held up in the osu legal dept?

i do think jd deserves a raise, but a third class citizen is over the top.most of these coaches even asst. make alott more than the average person. they also get to do what they love to do. akron is not osu!!theydo not have 100,00 fans per game,and huge tv contracts.no mac school does. most d-1 school make nothing, or lose money on football.
