Does it mean my season ticket form will be without typos for basketball? Does anyone know what else this provides for the university? KingZip Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 This move has been a target for Akron U for over a year and is a great step forward for Akron U and will free up the beefed up numbers of internal staff to concentrate on full-time ticket marketing and not have to be sidetracked with corporate sales. Dr Z Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 Akron Announces Partnership with ISPJul. 10, 2006 The University of Akron Department of Athletics has reached a multi-year agreement with ISP Sports, the country’s foremost collegiate sports marketing company, to serve as the exclusive multi-media marketer for the Zips, school officials have announced.With the partnership, which officially went into effect on July 1, ISP will market a variety of corporate sponsorship opportunities involving UA Athletics, including live play-by-play game radio broadcasts and call-in shows, football and basketball game programs, signage in on-campus facilities, and corporate hospitality events. The company will also serve as a sales representative for GoZips.com, the official athletic department website.“We are thrilled to partner with ISP,” UA Director of Athletics Mark Rhoades said. “ISP is a first-class organization recognized as the best in the industry.
