Zip4Life
Just came across a few articles about Coach Bowden's time at Auburn and gaining a National Championship. Pretty cool that the 1993 team is getting recognized as champions for their efforts!http://www.al.com/auburnfootball/index.ssf/2014/06/former_auburn_coach_terry_bowd.htmlhttp://www.thewareaglereader.com/2014/06/terry-bowden-says-auburn-has-a-right-to-claim-the-1993-national-championship/#.U48rCOYVQ74.twitter
Balsy
Those are wonderful articles that I believe were posted in other threads at some point...but they are very good! It's cool to think that Akron has a once National Champion caliber coach here. If we can keep him for years to come, this program will blossom into the best in the MAC. He will never get a National Championship or BCS chance at Akron. But money might be one factor that would keep him around.
Balsy
I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record with this: Terry Bowden will retire as Head Coach of the Akron Zips.
