Bowden National Championship

Just came across a few articles about Coach Bowden's time at Auburn and gaining a National Championship. Pretty cool that the 1993 team is getting recognized as champions for their efforts!

Those are wonderful articles that I believe were posted in other threads at some point...but they are very good! It's cool to think that Akron has a once National Champion caliber coach here. If we can keep him for years to come, this program will blossom into the best in the MAC.

If Bowden can get to a bowl game this season or next, UA better be ready to open it's checkbook big time. He will never get a National Championship or BCS chance at Akron. But money might be one factor that would keep him around.
