Zipmeister Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 24 really isn't all that close to 38. What part of this did you think was worth a listen? Quote
GoZips Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Garsh, when I listened to the podcast Chuck's portion began around the 38th minute. I didn't find anything interestingaround the twenty-fourth minute either. Chuck spoke for over thirty minutes. He gave some nice insights about Akronand numerous events in his long career. Be darn glad we have him.As a fan I enjoyed the interview. I have a Chuck Amato true story of my own. When Coach first came to Akron I askedhim if the Zips actually scored on the disputed last play of the game. This being the Akron upset of Chuck's NC Stateteam. He said, no, the Zip player did not score. Then he winked and smiled and said that Getsy had gone into the endzone untouched on the previous play. The ACC officials spotted the ball on the two. This denied the Zips momentarily.Chuck then stated that since we were both Zips now to enjoy Akron's victory. Quote
