zipdad Posted September 4, 2006 Report Share Posted September 4, 2006 The plans were for a two sided stadium with double decks. Large box on one side of the stadium. One end zone had stand alone seats and the other end zone had a plaza which was next to some other buildings along the street plus a new dorm. We'll be on par with other 'mid-major' programs now." Or did the project strike you as, "Wow! They've gone out of their way to make this one of the best 'small' stadiums in the country! Just like the field house, D-1A programs from across the country are gonna be jealous of this!"So, would you say it is a a) "nice" stadium, or... "awesome" stadium? "awesome" stadium?I was a bit worried when they built the fieldhouse. Having witnessed the talk and then the results of the jar, left me concerned about the final results. I just hope it's big enough, and able to expand if needed. Well, if zipdad's description is accurate, the facility will be a two sided double deck style. That sounds pretty cool right there and you got to think it will be sizeable. Also, the endzones will probably be open so there is potential for expansion right there by adding more stands.
