Based on what these prognosticators have done in the past, I'm pretty happy to see 4 guys on the First and Second teams, especially since we only return a handful of starters. 

 

Obviously, seeing a Newcomer on the 2nd team is pretty shocking.  I'm sure it's a testament to what they've seen of him before.  I'm thrilled to get this guy, and hope it all works out. 

 

And with 3 of those 4 guys on the 1st/2nd teams being transfers, are we ever going to complain again about bringing in non-freshmen??

And I have no idea why. He finished 3rd in the conference in INT/game and 7th in passes defended/game. According to Pro Football Focus, before the bowl season he had the third-highest coverage grade among CBs in the entire nation, and the highest among players outside the Power 5.

Yes, pretty shocking considering that someone like Athlon probably only pays attention to the numbers that they are seeing, and not by actually viewing performances.
