Tennessee State 0 in OT Tulsa improved to 2-1-1 with a 1-0 win over UAB SMU dropped to 2-3-0 as they lost 1-0 to Providence Penn State dropped to 2-2-1 as they lost 3-1 to St. Francis (PA) Ohio State improved their mighty record (Sarcasm alert) to 1-4-0 with a 1-0 win over northwestern Northern Illinois fell to 0-4-2 as they lost 1-0 to Binghamton Grand Canyon improved to 2-2 with a 1-0 win over Missouri State #30 Western Michigan (5-0-0) Defeated St. Marys, CA 2-0 #26 San Diego State 3 Texas Rio Grande Valley 0 #28 Loyola Chicago 2 #8 Utah Valley 0 #6 Notre Dame won 4-1 over previously undefeated Va. TennZip Posted September 10, 2016 Author Report Posted September 10, 2016 Early on in the season, the zips are not getting much help down the road for RPI. Ohio State and Georgetown and VCU all started their seasons 0-4. Penn State and SMU also seem to be having seasons below their expectations. There are still many undefeated MAC teams but Buffalo and BGSU are not playing tough schedules. St. Mary's, CA had tied Stanford earlier in the year so Western Michigan's 2-0 win over St.Mary's CA is a quality win for a MAC team. 1 Quote
TennZip Posted September 11, 2016 Author Report Posted September 11, 2016 Saturday results Georgetown improved to 1-4-0 with a 1-0 win over #19 Connecticut Bowling Green dropped to 4-1-0 as they lost 2-1 to Western Illinois (first win of the year as they go to 1-3-1) Furman upset #10 Kentucky 1-0 (kentucky had defeated Louisville earlier in the week) Wake Forest defeated #13 Virginia 1-0 in OT #14 Stanford improved to 1-1-3 with a 4-1 win over San Jose State Quote

SMU had high expectations this year SMU dropped to 2-4 this year as they lost 2-0 to Brown (3-0-0 record) #8 Utah Valley def. Northern Illinois 3-0 (MAC team falls to 0-5-2) Buffalo moved to 6-0-0 on the year with a 2-1 overtime win over Liberty of the Big South league in the akron tournament, Butler crushed Oregon State 3-0 Tulsa's record is now 2-1-2 after tieing Stetson 2-2 VCU improved to 1-4-0 with a 2-1 over Vermont (Vermont had been 5-0-0 and ranked in at least one poll) San Diego State 2 Memphis 0 Seattle dropped a 2-1 match at Dartmouth (Seattle drops to 2-3 while Dartmouth gets their first win of the year...they are 1-1-2) Quote
